50 new buses to be operated in Karachi soon: secretary transport

ISLAMABAD: Secretary Transport Sindh Sharik Ahmed has stated 50 new buses shall be operated in Karachi from the tip of January 2022.


The buses in Karachi will within the first section of the challenge underneath which 250 buses shall be operated in Sindh to supply higher transport facility to the lots.

The challenge is being launched with the monetary cooperation of the Asian Growth Financial institution and a memorandum of understanding has been signed with the Nationwide Radio & Telecommunication Company (NRTC) on this regard, Radio Pakistan reported.


Sharik Ahmed stated the busses will function in Karachi and different divisional headquarters together with Larkana, Mirpurkhas Shaheed-Benazirabad and Hyderabad.

In the meantime, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has stated the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) authorities was dedicated to finish all growth schemes in Hyderabad.

“Issues of the individuals of Sindh shall be resolved on precedence foundation,” he stated whereas addressing a ceremony in Hyderabad.

The governor stated PM Imran Khan was dedicated to serving the nation in the absolute best method. He expressed the boldness that the PTI would win the following elections with a thumping majority.
