IHC discards contempt of courtroom petition towards Maryam, Abbasi

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Excessive Courtroom on Friday discarded contempt of courtroom plea towards Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Maryam Nawaz and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

Islamabad Excessive Courtroom Chief Justice Athar Minallah maintained that the PML-N chief appeared upset over the judgments of former chief justice, Justice (retd) Saqib Nisar however her remarks don’t fall underneath the ambit of contempt of courtroom.
